Ultrasonic welders in the HiQ series
This product line offers the right ultrasonic plastic welding machines for your application, your market, and your budget.
- 20, 30, and 35 kHz operating frequency
- 900 – 6200 W generator power
- 10 – 2490 N weld force
The HiQ DIALOG ultrasonic welders feature the HMC pneumatic drive system. The servo-pneumatic drive patented by Herrmann Ultraschall combines the benefits of pneumatics with the dynamics of an electric drive and allows the choice of any desired start points for the weld process. The SoftTouch mode helps spare sensitive weld joints of the plastic parts to be joined during the attaching of the sonotrode. The process-oriented operator guidance ensures high usability. Ethernet, USB high-speed, and printer port come as standard.
- Intuitive weld process control: DIALOG control
- SpeedControl: freely programmable servo-pneumatic drive system HMC
- Flexible force profiling: up to 3 programmable weld forces + hold force possible
- Highly precise incremental path measurement
- Quality monitoring with graphic analysis
The latest generation of weld process software proves the innovative energy of Herrmann Ultraschall. The name DIALOG G4 is a byword for superlative software for control and operation of the weld process, the machine equipment, and up to six customized auxiliary functions. The intelligent process control reduces the reject rate and thus increases efficiency.

Simplicity without having to abandon the proved Herrmann Ultraschall standards - this is characteristic of this machine type. Proportional valve technology and digital high-performance generators are part of the basic equipment. A solid machine design with precision guiding rails and proven drive components are the foundation for quality and reproducible welds. Depending on the applications to be solved, Herrmann offers a choice of two machine types: HiQ SOLID STE and HiQ SOLID SDM with position measuring system.
- Solid and rigid machine assembly
- Process-oriented controller: SOLID control
- PropControl: Proportional valve technology
- Reliable position measuring system (HiQ SOLID SDM)
- USB interface for data exchange
With the SOLID control, the ultrasonic weld is reduced to the essentials. The SOLID control STE is the basic model with the three weld modes time, power, and energy. The SOLID control SDM is also equipped with the additional operating modes distance and depth.
- 3 operating modes: Time, power, and energy, with the controller SOLID control STE
- Plus 2 operating modes: Distance and depth in controller SOLID control SDM
- Operation via keypad with Unicode-compatible matrix display
- 8 application memories
